【摘要】:Thisguideisintendedfortheuseofarchitects,engineers,officemanagers,andothersinterestedindesigning,specifying,oroperatingopenoffices.Itisnotintendedtobeappliedtootherthanofficeenvironments,forexample,openplanschools.Whilethisguideattemptstoclarifythemanyinteractingvariablesthatinfluenceofficeprivacy,itisnotintendedtosupplanttheexperienceandjudgmentofexpertsinthefieldofacoustics.Competenttechnicaladviceshouldbesoughtforsuccessinthedesignofopenoffices,includingcomparisonsoftestresultscarriedoutaccordingtoASTMstandards.1.1Thisguidediscussestheacousticalprinciplesandinteractionsthataffecttheacousticalenvironmentandacousticalprivacyintheopenoffice.Inthiscontext,itdescribestheapplicationanduseoftheseriesofASTMstandardsthatapplytotheopenoffice.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.TheSIunitsinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
