【摘要】:TheformulaespecifiedinthisInternationalStandardareintendedtoestablishauniformlyacceptablemethodforcalculatingthepittingresistanceandbendingstrengthcapacityofindustrialgearswithspurorhelicalteeth.TheratingformulaeinthisInternationalStandardarenotapplicabletoothertypesofgeartoothdeteriorationsuchasplasticyielding,micropitting,scuffing,casecrushing,weldingandwear,andarenotapplicableundervibratoryconditionswheretheremaybeanunpredictableprofilebreakdown.Thebendingstrengthformulaeareapplicabletofracturesatthetoothfillet,butarenotapplicabletofracturesonthetoothworkingprofilesurfaces,failureofthegearrim,orfailuresofthegearblankthroughwebandhub.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotapplytoteethfinishedbyforgingorsintering.Itisnotapplicabletogearswhichhaveapoorcontactpattern.ThisInternationalStandardprovidesamethodbywhichdifferentgeardesignscanbecompared.Itisnotintended.toassuretheperformanceofassembleddrivegearsystems.Neitherisitintendedforusebythegeneralengineeringpublic.Instead,itisintendedforusebytheexperiencedgeardesignerwhoiscapableofselectingreasonablevaluesforthefactorsintheseformulaebasedonknowledgeofsimilardesignsandawarenessoftheeffectsoftheitemsdiscussed.CAUTION—TheuseriscautionedthatthecalculatedresultsofthisInternationalStandardshouldbeconfirmedbyexperience.
