【摘要】:ThisPartofBS919specifiesrequirementsforthefollowinggaugesintendedforcheckingscrewthreadsintheregularseries,suchasBSWhit.,BSFine,B.A.,BSCandBSConduit.a)Screwgaugesforgeneralandreferenceuse:1)solid(non-adjustable)screwpluggauges,GOandNOTGO;2)solidandadjustableGOscrewringgauges;3)adjustablethreadcallipergauges,GOandNOTGO.NOTENOTGOeffectivediameterringgaugesarealsoincludedsincetheyhavecertainlimitedapplications.Inprinciple,however,theiruseisnotrecommended.b)Plainpluggaugesandplaincallipergaugesforthecrestsofthreads.NOTEProvisionismadeinthestandardforbothGOandNOTGOplaingauges,butGOplaingaugesarenormallyrequiredonlyinthecaseofthreadswherethecorrespondingGOscrewgaugesdonotcontrolthemaximummetalconditionatthecrestsofthethreadsoftheproduct.c)Settingplugsforadjustablescrewringandthreadcallipergauges,GOandNOTGO.ThisstandardmaybeappliedalsotogaugesforanyscrewthreadsofWhitworthform,butnottogaugesforAcme,buttressorroundthreads.AnnexAprovidesguidanceonthevarioustypesofgauges.InformationrelatingtotheeffectivediameterequivalentofpitchandangleerrorsandtothethreadformofNOTGOeffectivediametergaugesisgiveninAnnexB,AnnexCandAnnexD.Norequirementsarespecifiedforthematerialsforgauges,butguidanceonthehardnessofgaugesisgiveninAnnexE.
